In a previous article, I showcased an app on GLOBR called Litterati. What you do in this app will change your view on the world and trash that you see on every day commutes. Not only does it convince you to pick up litter around you, but also has you create challenges if you would like to. That’s why I am here to tell you that the 2019-2020 GLOBR litter challenge is under way! If you live within a 50 mile radius of Minneapolis, Minnesota, you can participate in helping the community become greener. Let’s try and pick up 10,000 pieces of trash by April 15, 2020 so we can contribute to making Earth a little greener.
IMPORTANT INFO: In order to participate in this challenge, you must create a Litterati account, and download the app. Once this has been completed, go to the “Challenges” section, where you can scroll to the bottom to find “Local Challenges”. Click, “View All”, and type in the following: 2019-2020 GLOBR Litter Challenge. Once that has been done, click on it, and click on the button that says, “Participate”. After this has been completed, you will now be enrolled in the challenge, and if you pick up trash within the radius, it will count toward winning the challenge badge.
