When you hear the following words, many should be scared of what is to come. The following words should make you do something about this never ending problem. These are those two words: plastic straws.

Why should you be afraid? Take a look at this picture:

This is a picture of a Sea Turtle suffering from a straw lodged up its nose. A video was filmed during the whole process of the removal for the straw. I must say, it was terrible what happened to the poor thing.

The extinction of these beloved sea turtles is in our hands, and if we decide to create these massive gyres in the oceans, we could very well be hurting almost every ocean creature living today.
