She’s 16, Is Currently On A Sailboat, And Has Spoken At The UN

Meet Greta Thunberg. She’s that teen that you read about in the New York Times, who spoke to the United Nations about the changing climate. She’s that kid who strikes every Friday from school, and has a book filled with all of her speeches that she’s done through the beginning of 2019.

The book is called, No One Is Too Small To Make A Difference. I read it, and here speeches are not only inspiring, but also prompts anyone who reads it to take action, and help change our world for the better.

Now, if you’re wondering about the part where her current location is somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, I’ll tell you. A few days ago, she boarded a sail boat with the intention to get all the way to New York for another speech. Instead of flying, and be part of releasing more carbon into the atmosphere, she will use Mother Nature to cross the water.

I’ll put her TED Talk below if you would like to hear one of her inspiring speeches. Also, if you’d like to hear someone rally everyone together to help change the planet, I’d recommend getting her book. What can you do to help keep the world from changing for the worse? What are some ways that you could help Greta in Here stance against climate change?
