My Solar Phone: Part 1

Not too long ago, I posted that my iPhone would run on solar power for the rest of the summer. This is the fourth day into the challenge, and I must say that it is easier to do than I had originally expected.

This challenge has forced me to break away from my phone, and I am loving the outcome. Yes, the phone has died several times, but that only means that I get more time to be out in nature, and/or spend more time with friends and family. The other thing is that I get to practice responsibility throughout the summer, as I must remember to keep the charger in the sun for most of the day.

If you haven’t read the original article for this challenge yet, click here to read it. In it, I mention that it shouldn’t be that hard to conquer this feat, and that you should try it too. I am serious when I say that, because you would help the environment in a way that would also help you too. Try it, and don’t be afraid of what’s to come.
